CENTER
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Christ The King Center is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation governed and managed by a Board of Directors.
The current members of the Board of Directors are as follow:
Elton Schroeder
President
Elton Schroeder, with his wife Jeanette, founded Christ the King Center after his battle with debilitating spinal issues re-enlivened his trust and faith in God. He credits St Rita of Cascia as being instrumental to his recovery for which they built a Rosary walk around their pond dedicated to her. Over the course of several years, they began to feel called to devote their earthly gifts, including their property in Glandorf to God's mission.
Elton is a retired vice president of the Lockheed Martin Corporation, having spent over 38 years at the aerospace company in engineering, manufacturing, and business management roles across several states on the east and west coasts. Elton and Jeanette are parents of three and grandparents to nine. Natives of Putnam County, they retired 1n 2010 to their present residence in Glandorf.

Eric Kaufman
Board Member
Eric Kaufman is a native of Glandorf, Ohio, where he served as a councilman for the Village of Glandorf and served several area volunteer organizations. As a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in Glandorf, he served as president of the parish council, and led the parish capital campaign, which worked to continue to restore and preserve the historic church. At 30, Eric accepted God's calling and is currently a deacon for the Diocese of Toledo in America, studying for the priesthood. God-willing, he will be ordained in May 2025 to the Priesthood of Jesus Christ.
Knowing that we are all called to know, love, and serve the Lord, and to bring others to Christ, Eric firmly believes in the mission of Christ the King Center. Believing that CKC is not just a place to visit, but allows all to come experience and encounter the Lord, and to grow in their love, trust, and friendship with God, so to do whatever He needs us to do.
John 2:5 – Mary’s words to the servants at the Wedding Feast at Cana: “Do whatever he [Jesus] tells you.”
Angie Kuhlman
Board Member
For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Angie Kuhlman. My mission for serving on the board of Christ The King Center is to provide the people of Putnam County and surrounding areas with a place to escape or retreat from the ”busyness” of everyday life and to grow in your faith whether you have 30 minutes or 3 days and to be able to do that without being hours away from home. I also want to give back to the community that helped me and my family during my battle with Leukemia. I know first-hand how important it is to have a faith-filled and charitable community when facing serious health concerns or in times of tragedy. I want to see our community thrive in many ways from this spiritual retreat center and further grow the virtues of faith, love and charity in this generation and future generations.
I was raised in the Glandorf community and attended St. John The Baptist church. I am a 1994 graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf High School and attended Ohio Northern University graduating with a dual major in Biology and Medical Technology. I currently work for Novo Nordisk Inc. My husband, Eric and I live in the Miller City area with our three children, Adrienne, Myles and Adalyn. We are members of St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Miller City and I serve as a sacristan, extraordinary minister of Holy Communion, and am a member of Welcome 1.
Psalm 105:4 - "Seek the Lord and His strength; seek His presence continually!"
Adam Schnipke
Board Member
I feel very blessed and humbled to have been called to serve on the board for Christ the King Center. I attended the “Men’s Welcome retreat” in Glandorf in February 2020, and it had a large impact on my life. I have helped put on the past three “Men’s Welcome retreats” at Glandorf since then. I have also attended several different retreats in the Columbus area, as have my children. I have seen, first hand, what a huge and positive impact a retreat can have on an individual. I have had the opportunity to serve on many local boards over the last 25 years and am also passionate about my faith, which I feel makes this board a good fit for me.
In 2005, I married my high school sweetheart, Beth Beining. We both grew up in Ottoville, which is where we reside and raise our 4 children- Quinton, Gretta, Henry, and Celia. We are members of Immaculate Conception church in Ottoville, where we are all active - Eucharistic ministers, choir, youth group, lector, usher, CCD teacher. I have served multiple times on our parish council and have been its president. After attending "That Man is You" (TMIY) in Glandorf, I was able to get the program started at our parish, and continue to facilitate it.
Professionally, I am a self-employed residential contractor, Schnipke Contracting LLC. As a family, we LOVE the outdoors and nature. We enjoy camping, hunting, fishing, trapping, water sports, snow sports, school sports, Ohio State football, and Cincinnati Reds baseball.
Mt 18:20 - " For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
